We all know the hard times that has raised up against our nation which I do not need to repeat, and we know that it still lingers. Even though we made plans to get back to our lives, I’m still hearing "it is time to pray people of God!"

Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Angelica (Angie) Lavilette-Adamus, a vessel that is privilege and honored to be the Lord’s servants. I reside on the south side of GA, but I also fellowshipped at: Solid Rock Pentecostal Church at College Park, GA.

A little before 2021, the Lord assigned to me a task. HE revealed I should start making “prayer mats” but not just any prayer mats. Allow me to explain.

Back in October 2020 I started making some journals thinking it was for some teammates for their New Year’s gift. After creating the journals, I reached out to an old friend to see if she knew who can print them. A few weeks later we learned that the price was $74.00 to print one journal and I just wanted five.... Needless to say, the price was exorbitant, so I placed the thought on hold!

In 2013, I became a follower of Christ Jesus; I love and desired to follow His will in my life... Among many things throughout my transitioning, I became a gospel songwriter. At that time it was with my daughter(s) who ministered a few at our church, at youth concerts and even overseas. Out of the blue the flowing of musical ideas stopped in 2016 for a while. During Covid, I started writing a song about everything that was happening at that time. After that I gave birth to three more songs to God be all the glory, the only challenge to me; the songs felt the same. 

Later in mid-January of 2021 I shared with a friend my desire to write a song that will make people worship the Lord, on a totally different level. I expressed to him that I wanted to write a song that would have listeners worship God by touching people as if they were attending a worldly concert but stronger, a song unlike any song I have written before. After expressing that feeling to my friend, the next thing I remembered I was asleep and awoke to singing, crying, pleading to God, I got up and started writing it down to God be the glory! 

I text my music teacher letting her know we have a song that we HAVE to practice. My heart truly felt that HE blessed me with this song to impact the world. We practiced and prepared for the single called "Have Mercy On Me" which was produced in less than two months. Yes! To God be the glory.

On February 28th of 2021 I sat watching a movie that I have seen at least five time over the years "I Am Gabrielle" which I love every time I watched it. That evening, the Lord showed me HE wants me to create prayer mats for His People...

Now mind you, I took some sewing in school for extra grades but just basics. I always send overseas to have my work attire made. Believe it or not, my first job in the US Virgin Islands was upholstery. I worked for a gentleman who made coverings for boats, ships, yachts etc.; that was over 25 years ago. Today the Lord desires these hands to make prayer mats... A long-hidden talent that HE resurfaced. Oh, bless these hands to continue to do YOUR will Father God.

Later in March I thought to myself how I am to start without the means to start. The Lord then shared this scripture with me--Exodus 35:21 “and everyone who wished to do so brought an offering to the Lord for making the Tent (mats) of (for) the Lord's presence," that is when I felt led to create a contribution letter and send out to only five people who HE shared on my heart to contact, and out of the five only three assisted with what was needed. One provided a sewing machine, another monetary funds for the journal, and the third one paid to record the CD and the other two I envisioned that they may have provided their prayers.

I shared the letter with two women at my job, the first one donated $5, the other took a while due to what she had planned to do did not work out, so she donated $20. Father God, I pray You would bless these two ladies...but I did not know what to get with the $5. While I was in a corner store the Lord told me take the $5 and buy a bottle of olive oil (for anointing) and HE will do the rest, hallelujah....

In April my co-workers and I received extra funds that payday as part of the COVID Response Team, when I checked my account that morning in obedience Father God advised me to go and buy what was needed at JoAnn's with all of it...

In May 2021 believe it or not the journals came up once again but this time a whole different design and layout, and the cost was under $50 for two. The printing company had six made and the young lady working there that helped me had resigned so no one else was willing to assist how she printed them, so once again the journals were placed on a stand still until in June. Sweet Jesus!

A friend more like my spiritual father, from the VI reached out to me just to wish me happy belated B-day and to catchup since we have not spoken in a while. It was during this conversation he shared about what the Lord was doing with him and I shared what HE was doing with me. I then asked if he knew where I can get a website made and he shared with me a site (fiverr.com) that made a big impact to his ministry. Truth be told, what an awesome logo (fiverr.com... Ms. logodesign36h) made for our Journals and website to God be the glory!

When the design was completed, I called Office Depot to see if they can assist with printing the journals, I was redirected due large quantities their online team, this allow me to have 18 made for $99.00 Sweet Jesus imagine that....

As of today Aug 12th 2021 God has blessed these hands to sew 22 mats and I am looking forward to sewing as much as HE allows me too... of those who have contribute I thank them and hope they are using theirs for His glory..

The whole point of my journey is that HE desires me to remind the world to commune with Him once again, We are to stop running to people and tell them our problem or joys, stop cheating on HIM, rather turn to the rightful ONE  in prayer. It is my hope and prayer that our prayer kit will provide that start.
